Disana wool shampoo with panama bark extract is a mild and natural detergent perfect for washing any silk or woollen products including nappy covers.
Pure wool should only be washed with a natural and mild wool detergent. Due to the structure of wool fibres it is particularly sensitive to heat, friction and harsh chemicals. Therefore, care should be taken when washing woollen items. Disana wool shampoo is particularly mild and best suited for all natural, pure and organic wool. It’s pH is adjusted to the slightly acidic wool and thus reduces felting of the wool during washing. As a concentrate, it is particularly economical and is suitable for both hand and machine washing.
After washing wool covers it is recommended to use lanolin to replenish the waterproofing of the wool’s fibres. Use either Disana lanolin conditioner or Sheepish Grins pure lanolin for best results.
To Use: For machine washes use 15ml per wash (1-2 caps full). Only wash on the ‘wool wash’ setting with temperature set to cold. Do not spin, do not leave in suds. For hand washing use 5ml per 4 litres of water, use only lukewarm water (25°C). Do not rub or scrape at woollens, simply wash through briefly and rinse out after washing with lukewarm water.
Ingredients: 15-30% amphoteric surfactants, panamarine extract, vegetable protein, citric acid. Fragrance free, skin and environmentally friendly.
